Tyler McKenzie is an actor and singer from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was born with a love of storytelling and made his stage debut at nine years of age in a production of A Christmas Carol. Falling in love with the theatre, he quickly began formal training in voice and acting. It became apparent that Tyler had a knack for performing when he was consistently cast in lead roles throughout his high school theatrical productions. Simultaneously, he fell in love with acting for the camera as he began collaborating with fellow creatives to make short films. Tyler has appeared in content for such creators as Bluedog Films with 5 million views and counting. After high school, Tyler began pursuing a theatre degree at DeSales University. It was during this time that he had a taste of the professional world when he got the chance to work with M. Night Shyamalan as a stand-in on the film Glass. This experience inspired him to travel out to California and study with active teachers in the industry. Being a northeastern based actor near the epicenter of entertainment that is New York City, Tyler continues to study his craft with the best, training with such names as Joan Melton (“the teacher of teachers” with the One Voice Course) and Mary Saunders-Barton (Head of Penn State Vocal Department, instructor to countless Broadway veterans). He studies acting with Mel Churcher (UK-Based Coach, Pinewood Studios; Coach to Robert Downey, Jr., Benedict Cumberbatch) and Rolf Saxon (Guildhall School of Music and Drama; Mission Impossible, Saving Private Ryan). Select credits for Tyler span from Jack Kelly in Newsies to national cable networks such as The History Channel. Anyone who knows Tyler, knows his love for Disney. His passion for Star Wars was fueled in an epic opportunity to work for The Walt Disney Company where he flexed his improv muscles as a character in the Star Wars-themed land, Galaxy’s Edge. When Tyler is not acting, he can be found writing original creative projects and playing with Legos (no, seriously...). Tyler seeks to inspire people to dream, cultivating the power of imagination through storytelling on stage and screen.
